The spring holydays serve to remind us of the tremendous sacrifice of Jesus Christ and His message. Jesus desires that we humans repent and believe the gospel. What is the gospel? The "good news" of the coming Kingdom of God! To much of professing Christianity, the coming Kingdom of God is misunderstood. The Kingdom is an actual kingdom, not a feeling in one's heart. Jesus will come back to this earth someday and bring His kingdom with him to actually rule the earth with His saints! Only then will we see true peace in this world. Until then, we professing Christians are to occupy ourselves with preparing ourselves for that Kingdom as well as preaching the good news of the coming Kingdom God. |
